Calculate the following scenario for a simple interest loan.
Semenov [28]

Simple interest is a method of calculating interest on an amount for n period of time with a rate of interest of r. The amount of monthly payments is $287.5.

What is simple interest?

Simple interest is a method of calculating interest on an amount for n period of time with a rate of interest of r. It is calculated with the help of the formula,

SI = (PRT)/100

where SI is the simple interest, P is the principal amount, R is the rate of interest, and T is the time period.

Given the following details about the simple interest loan as,

Principal amount, P = $3,000

Interest rate, r = 15%

Number of instalments = 12

Since there are 12 instalments each for a month, therefore, the time period for which the loan was there is 1 year.

Now, the interest for 1 year will be,

Interest amount = ($3,000 × 1 × 15)/100

                           = $450

Further, the total amount that is needed to be paid back is the sum of the principal amount and Interest amount.

Amount needed = $3,000 + $450

                            = $3,450

Moreover, there are 12 instalments, therefore, the number of monthly payments will be,

Monthly payment = $3,450/12 = $287.5

Hence, the amount of monthly payments is $287.5.

Answer:

19/30

Step-by-step explanation:

1/5 + 2/15 + 3/10

We need the LCD of 5, 15, and 10.

LCD = 30

1/5 + 2/15 + 3/10 =

= 6/30 + 4/30 + 9/30

= 19/30

What is 78.32+6.784?
IceJOKER [234]

Answer: 85.104

Step-by-step explanation: Adding decimals is something you will use a lot. Take the time to learn it now. So when you are adding decimals there are some important things to keep in mind. 1. Line the decimals up. Let me explain. Lets do a example. Lets say its 14.5+ 15.74. The first thing you would need to do is line them up like this-->

14.5

15.74

+____

After you do that, Do you see a black space next to the 14.5? When adding decimals this is a big nono. So what you can do is add a 0. Adding a zero is only applicable when you have one number that has 1 more number(its my best way to explain it).( so like you would add a zero if your equation was like 23.5 +18.99. but you wouldn't do it if it was 17.5+19.4). Example equation should look like this:

14.5 0<---- add the zero!

15.74

+____

Step 2. Put the decimal down to where it lines up. Like this:

14.5 0

15.74

+____

.<------ make sure it lines up!

Step 3. Add regularly. Just ignore the decimal in the equation and just add. The answer would be 30.24. If you don't know how to add, I don't think your old enough for a brainly account:)

Step 4. Remove the zero. Zero as a number means nothing. So its ok in math to add a zero at the end of a decimal. So 4.0 is the same as 4 or 4.0000000000000. So when you have another problem, and your answer is something like 95.320, you can just remove the zero. So it would be 95.32:)

Hope I Helped! (this took me a long time to type out)

Find the range from 54 to (-13)
Korolek [52]
If you were at 54 on the number line you would have to cross zero and go an extra 13 steps to get to -13.
So we want the difference between 54 and -13 or 54- -13 which becomes 54+13 which is 67 - that is the range

Look at this set of 5 numbers: 21471 By how much would the mode decrease if the number 1 were added to the set?
Fofino [41]

Answer:

  • Zero

Step-by-step explanation:

The mode is the number of most repeated data in the set.

Given set 2, 1, 4, 7, 1 has mode 1 (repeated twice).

If we add 1 to the set the mode will remain 1 as it will repeat three times, so the mode won't change.

There is no change in mode, so the mode decrease is zero.
