Venn diagram is the representation of set in a graphical form

<em>See attachment for the set of multiples of 2, 13, 3 and 6 </em>

Given

Numbers = \{8,9,10,11,12,13\}

Let

<em />A \to<em> Multiples of 2</em>

<em />B \to<em> Multiples of 8</em>

<em />C \to<em> Multiples of 6</em>

<em />D \to<em> Multiples of 13</em>

<em />

First, we split the numbers in set of the given multiples

A: \{8, 10, 12\}

B = \{8\}

C =\{12\}

D = \{13\}

Digit 9 does not belong to any of these set

<em />

<em>Set B and set C are proper subsets of set A.</em>

This means that sets B and C will be inside set A in the Venn diagram

So, we have:

A = \{B,10,C\}

Since 9 does not belong to any of the sets, it will not be inside any of sets A, B, C or D

See attachment for the required Venn diagram

A car is traveling in a race. The car went from the initial velocity of 35 m/s to the final velocity of 65m/s in 5 seconds what
artcher [175]

The acceleration is defined as the ratio between the change in velocity and the time elapsed to perform such a change.

These "changes" are indicated with the capital greek letter delta, \Delta, and when you write \Delta x you mean the difference between the finial and the inital values of the variable x:

\Delta x = x_{\text{fin}} - x_{\text{init}}

So, the acceleration is defined as

a = \dfrac{\Delta v}{\Delta t} = \dfrac{v_{\text{fin}} - v_{\text{init}}}{t_{\text{fin}} - t_{\text{init}}}

In this case, the initial velocity is 35, the final velocity is 65. Assuming we start the clock at the beginning of the observation, the inital time is 0 and the final time is 5. So, we have

a = \dfrac{65-35}{5-0} = \dfrac{30}{5} = 6m/s^2

Charlie guesses that his dog weighs 34. 5 pounds. The dog actually weighs 32. 7 pounds. What is the percent error in Charlie’s g
expeople1 [14]

Percent error is the amount of error to actual value, in percent. The percent error in Charlie’s guess is approximately: Option D: 5.5%

<h3>How to calculate the percent error?</h3>

Suppose the actual value and the estimated values after the measurement are obtained. Then we have:

Error = Actual value - Estimated value

To calculate percent error, we will measure how much percent of actual value, the error is, in the estimated value.

\rm Percent \: Error = |\dfrac{Error}{Actual value}|\times 100 \\\\Percent \: Error = | \dfrac{\text{(Actual Value - Estimated Value)}}{Actual value}|\times 100 \\

(here |x| is such that it makes x non negative, thus, |-5| = 5, and |5| = 5)

For the given case, it is specified that:

Actual weight of dog = 32.7 pounds

Guessed weight of dog, by Charlie : 34.5 pounds.

Error = 32.7 - 34.5 = -1.8 pounds

Thus, percent error in Charlie's guess is calculated as:

\text{Percent Error} = |\dfrac{-1.8}{32.7}| \times 100 \approx 5.5\%

Hence, the percent error in Charlie’s guess is obtained approximately is given by: Option D: 5.5%

19 there is a frog and snake exhibit at
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

b.42

Step-by-step explanation:

the ratiois is 3 to 4 .So every 4 snakes is to 3 frogs so since there are 24 snakes devide the 24 by 4 which will give u 6 then multiply the answer by 3 which will give u 18 which represents the total number of frogs then add 18 +24 which is 42.

so then total number of frogs is 42.
