What events the U.S. get involved with because of the containment policy
gladu [14]
Containment is a geopolitical strategic foreign policy pursued by the United States. It is loosely related to the term cordon sanitaire which was later used to describe the geopolitical containment of the Soviet Union in the 1940s. The strategy of "containment" is best known as a Cold War foreign policy of the United States and its allies to prevent the spread of communism after the end of World War II.

How did Gutenburg's printing press change education, society, and/or religion in Renaissance Europe? What are specific connectio
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The effect the Gutenberg’s printer had on society was the sudden widespread of information.

Explanation:

1. Gutenberg’s invention of the printing press had an impact also on religion.

<em>The Bible</em> was no longer copied by hand, but was printed with the press at much higher speed. <em>The Bible</em> and other religious pamphlets in Latin were printed and distributed all over Europe.

Also, the religious ideas of <em>Martin Luther</em> were spread across Europe with the help of printing presses.

Gutenberg’s discovery had a big impact on <em>the Renaissance</em>, because it made possible to copy ancient philosophy books and scripts at higher speed.

<em>Literacy</em> was also improved in Europe, with the easier access to books.

2. It is considered one of the most important inventions of mankind. From then on it was possible to print and spread information very quickly.

This fact alone represents one of the biggest revolutions in human society. It represents one of the <em>first steps of technological and scientific progress</em>.

Without it, it would have been impossible to achieve all the developments of civilization, and the world as we know it today, wouldn’t be imaginable.

How did Motion pictures have an impact on society? 1 paragraph if possible.
Kipish [7]
<span>Still photography changed the entire course of visual contact . For the first time people could see the reality of another place. The civil war was the first widely photographically documented war, and the pictures of the bodies were more powerful that words could ever be. With pictures, people could see the world without traveling it, they could see people without ever meeting them. As technology grew, bringing motion pictures, and color film, the world became a smaller place in terms of being able to see it, but a much larger place in knowing what there was in it.</span>
