The invention of the printing press encouraged secularism as people could more easily share ideas that challenged church teachings.

After the invention of the printing press, the text would survive. Thus, an intellectual movement took place in Europe. People started translating texts by Roman authors or texts from the ancient Greek as well. These books dealt with Science, Math, Philosophy including ideas opposing the church belief.

It is important to highlight that secularism refers to the doctrine of separation between government institutions and religious institutions.

How did president wilson attempt to gain the public’s support for the League of Nations
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

After the end of World War One, President Woodrow Wilson sought national support for his idea of a League of Nations. He took his appeal directly to the American people in the summer of nineteen nineteen.

The plan for the League of Nations was part of the peace treaty that ended World War One. By law, the United States Senate would have to vote on the treaty. President Wilson believed the Senate would have to approve it if the American people demanded it. So he went to the people for support.
