I'm a little unsure of the question... Since most cells utilize diffusion and/or facilitated diffusion to bring in nutrients and oxygen, and to expel waste products.
One example may be enterocytes, which are the small intestinal cells responsible for bringing in glucose (sugar), amino acids, and electrolytes via diffusion and co-transport during the absorptive phase of food digestion. They also utilize diffusion, to subsequently transport those nutrients into the bloodstream, to then be processed by the liver, for the body's future use of them.

A protein can begin to fold and to bind to other proteins while still being synthesized on the ribosome. True False
Gennadij [26K]

Answer: Yes

Explanation:

his amazing artwork shows a process that takes place in the cells of all living things: the production of proteins. This process is called protein synthesis, and it actually consists of two processes — transcription and translation. In eukaryotic cells, transcription takes place in the nucleus. During transcription, DNA is used as a template to make a molecule of messenger RNA (mRNA). The molecule of mRNA then leaves the nucleus and goes to a ribosome in the cytoplasm, where translation occurs. During translation, the genetic code in mRNA is read and used to make a protein. These two processes are summed up by the central dogma of molecular biology: DNA → RNA → Protein.
