Answer:

The Roman buildings were used to demonstrate that the empire was strong and well designed. The Roman people felt superiority specially when they had to show them over the rest of the population. Most of them were used as temples, where Roman people went to offer different things to their gods. But a different use was given, it was the spectacular parties that different emperor provided to their guests.

These buildings affected the way Roman lives because it depended on their classification inside their social pyramid. It meant that there were two types of people rich and poor. Rich people used to live outside the city, beautiful landscape around their houses. Their monumental houses were well designed full of servants and slaves to provide all kind of services, but on the other hand of the coin, we had poor people, they lived in deteriorated houses, most of them without a hard roof. These people lived with afraid of losing their houses. It could be destroyed by a strong tornado or a huge fire.

Romans systems and structures were built to connect the different cities but the Romans let the small cities that they conquered they kept their cultural and political issues. Every city conquered had their own emperor and it was built inside a fortress. All the emperor showed tribute to the only one Emperor called Cesar.

One of the prominent Roman structure is the Colosseum which is localized on the east part of the city of Rome. This structure was used to have gladiators fights which they were provided happiness to the population. This structure served as jail to the rebels and people who were against the emperor.

The other prominent Roman structure is The Roman basilica, it was a big and large construction where they held ceremonies, business deals and transactions.

Explanation:

The Roman Empire was a different time where it was famous because of its beautiful constructions and all the problems they had to deal to became the most famous constructions in the world. All the power was concentrate in Rome and it was divided in two side: Western and Easter, but finally with the fall of the dinasties. It became the most powerful and exciting empire around the world.
