Answer:

6.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Similar means the same shape but smaller. So we have to find the connection between 17 and 5. Which can be achieved by this equation

17/5=3.4

Now we apply the number 3.4 to find the length of PQ using the same side on the similar shape

2*3.4=6.8

Hope this helps and I’m sorry to ask but I would love a Brainliest

7 is the answer bc NL and QO are congruent so you divide 17 by 5 and get 3.4( that’s what the scale factor) and NM and QP are congruent so 2•3.4= 6.8 and it says to round it to the nearest tenth and that would equal to 7

Zarrin [17]

Answer:

a) For this case on the first trial we have the following probability of selecting a defective part: 5/30. Because we have 5 in total defective at the begin and a total of 30 parts

For the second trial since the experiment is without replacement we have 29 parts left, and since we select 1 defective from the first trial we have in total 4 defective left, so then the probability of defective for the second trial is : 4/29

And then we can assume independence between the events and we have this probability:

(5/30)*(4/29) =0.16667*0.1379= 0.0230

b) For this case on the first trial we have the following probability of selecting a defective part: 5/30. Because we have 5 in total defective at the begin and a total of 30 parts

And since we replace the part selected is the same probability for the second trial and then the final probability assuming independence would be:

(5/30)*(5/30) =0.1667* 0.1667= 0.0278

Step-by-step explanation:

For this case we know that we have a batch of 30 parts with 5 defective.

Part a

If two parts are drawn randomly one at a time without replacement, what is the probability that both parts are defective?

For this case on the first trial we have the following probability of selecting a defective part: 5/30.

Part b

If this experiment is repeated, with replacement, what is the probability that both parts are defective?

For this case on the first trial we have the following probability of selecting a defective part: 5/30. Because we have 5 in total defective at the begin and a total of 30 parts

And since we replace the part selected is the same probability for the second trial and then the final probability assuming independence would be:

(5/30)*(5/30) =0.1667* 0.1667= 0.0278

Plz put the work clearly plzz I really need these
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

m∠C = 26°

m∠D = 108°

m∠E = 46°

Step-by-step explanation:

Set up the equation adding the expressions together to equal 180 (sum of all angles in a triangle)

(2x) + (x+3) + (5x-7) = 180

Remove the parentheses

2x + x+ 3 + 5x - 7 = 180

Add like terms

8x - 3 -7 = 8x -4 = 180

8x - 4 = 180

Add 4 on each side to cancel it out on the right

8x - 4 = 180

     +4 = +4

8x = 184

Divide each side by 8 to get the variable by itself

8/8 =1 184/8 = 23

x = 23

Substitute x in eac expression

2x = 2(23) = 46°

x + 3 = 23 + 3 = 26°

5x - 7 = 5(23) - 7 = 115 -7 = 108

Chek it by adding all the degrees to make sure it equals 180

46 + 26 + 108 = 72 + 108 = 180

Triangle KNM is shown. Triangle K N M is shown. Angle M K N is 25 degrees. Angle K N M is 130 degrees. Angle N M K is 25 degrees
mars1129 [50]

Answer:

Two of the sides of triangle KNM are the equal

Step-by-step explanation:

From the triangle KNM, we can see that two of the angles M K N and Angle N M K are the same. If two of the angles are equal this means that two of the sides of the triangles are also equal. This type of triangle is known as an ISOSCELES TRIANGLE.

An isosceles triangle is a triangle that has two of its angles and sides to be equal.
