Whose side does Shakespeare want his audience to take on juliet and romeo

English

Answer: Both?

Explanation: I honestly believe that it would be both. I think this because Shakespeares Romeo & Juliet shared sides from both Romeo and Juliet, and not just one character. So, if I was supposed to choose one of the sides, I would most definitely choose Romeo. I would choose him because of the great fun he gets to have with his friends and how he is highly admired by many women but I also wouldn't choose him because of the pain and grief he must feel later in the play.

Hope this helps!
