1. Rural-Urban Drift is the movement of people from the countryside or villages to cities or towns as a reaction to some of the prevailing conditions in the rural areas. In other words, conditions in rural areas are causing people to move to cities and towns.

2. Four causes of Rural-Urban Drift may be political conflicts, income disparities, better education, or the search for better living conditions.

3. Four effects of Rural-Urban Drift in urban areas could be unemployment, poor sanitation due to overcrowding, increase in crime rate due to unemployment, shortage of basic amenities, and increased environmental pollution.
