We can make such equation which represents our problem.
Assume that x is number of working hours .
42*x-75>260
42x-75>260 /+75 add 75 both sids
42x>335 /:42 divide both sides by 42
x>7,97
Adrian will stay at work at least 8 hours.

The coffee shop used 52 pounds of Type A coffee.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of Type A coffee per pound = 5.25

Cost of Type B coffee per pound = 4.10

Total pounds used in blend = 142

Total cost = 642.00

Let,

x be the pounds of Type A coffee used

y be the pounds of Type B coffee used

According to given statement;

x+y=142      Eqn 1

5.25x+4.10y=642.00   Eqn 2

Multiplying Eqn 1 by 4.10

4.10(x+y=142)\\4.10x+4.10y=582.20\ \ \ Eqn\ 3

Subtracting Eqn 3 from Eqn 2

(5.25x+4.10y)-(4.10x+4.10y)=642.00-582.20\\5.25x+4.10y-4.10x-4.10y=59.80\\1.15x=59.80\\

Dividing both sides by 1.15

\frac{1.15x}{1.15}=\frac{59.80}{1.15}\\x=52\\

The coffee shop used 52 pounds of Type A coffee.

Chase use 1/6 cup of bananas for every 2/3 cup of apples to make a smoothie. Enter the number of cups of bananas Vhase uses for
Reika [66]

Answer:

1/4 cup of bananas

Step-by-step explanation:

1/6 cup of bananas = 2/3 cup of apples

1/6 cup of bananas = 4/6 cup of apples

1/24 (1/6 ÷ 4 since 4/6 cup of apples is 4 units and we need 1 unit) cup of bananas = 1/6 cup of apples

1 cup of apples = 1/4 (1/24 x 6 for 6 units) cup of bananas

geniusboy [140]

Answer:

5.6

Step-by-step explanation:

first you see if the 100ths place is 4 or under or 5 and up. 5 and up you add 1 to the tenths place. 4 and down you keep the number the same. therefore because the number after six is 3 six stays the same and the answer is 5.6.
