The Civil Rights Act of 1957 was passed in order to make sure that all
Americans could exercise their right to vote. It was the first civil
rights legislation passed since reconstruction. Its enactment also came after African Americans were increasingly targeted with violence following the U.S. Supreme Court’s Brown v. Board of Education decision ending segregation in schools. The law showed a renewed national attention to
guaranteeing civil rights to all Americans. In addition, it established the Commission on Civil Rights, a federal oversight committee that examined opinions of the public and state laws regarding civil rights.
Article 5 describes the process of Amending the US Constitution. Specifically, it specifies that Amendments need to be ratified by three-forths of all states. This means that the central government cannot change the Constitution without the States's agreement, which is in line with the principle of Federalism.
There were three principles created by Chief Justice John Marshall
1: the constitutional is the supreme law of the land
2: the court has the power to rule that a law is unconstitutional
3: in the event of a conflict between laws, the constitution MUST be followed.

Now, you can just divide the fraction(numerator divided by denominator). For normal fractions, like 1/4 or 5/8, the answer would be the decimal version of the fraction. However, we are using improper fractions, so the answer will be greater than one.
10÷5=2, so if you divide 18 by 2, you get 9, confirming the answer we got with the other strategy.(There is one more strategy, but it takes a little longer to do.)
