Answer:

Children = 124

Adults = 93

Step-by-step explanation:

x = children

y = adults

x + y = 217

x = 217 - y

15.50x + 20y = 3782

15.50 (217-y) + 20y = 3782

3363.50 - 15.50y + 20y = 3782

4.5y = 3782 - 3363:50

y = 418.50/4.5

y = 93

x + 93 = 217

x = 217 - 93

x = 124
