Hello!

You have to find if the sides are relatable

We find this by dividing the larger shape by the smaller one

112/14 = 8

32 / 4 = 8

24 / 3 = 8

They multiplied the smaller shape by 8 to get the larger

So the answer is C) yes, 1:8

Hope this helps!

You can see if they are similar by looking at the sides.

If each of the sides have the same proportion then they are similar.

24/3 = 8
32/4 = 8
112/14 = 8

Yes they are similar and their ratio is 1:8

Hope this helps :)

F(x) = 4x2 + 5x - 3
g(x) = 4x3 – 3x2 + 5
Find (f - g)(x).
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

-4x^3 + 7x^2 + 5x - 8

Step-by-step explanation:

(f-g)(x) = f(x) - g(x) = [4x^2 + 5x -3] - [4x^3 - 3x^2 + 5]

= 4x^2 + 5x - 3 -4x^3 + 3x^2 - 5 = -4x^3 + 7x^2 + 5x - 8

A pole that is 3.2 m tall casts a shadow that is 1.45 m long. At the same time, a nearby building casts a shadow that is 36.5 m
Usimov [2.4K]
To solve this, use proportions. The height of the pole corresponds to the height of the building; the shadows are corresponding: 3.1/x =1/45.5
3.1 times 45.5=1x
141.05=x
The building is 141 meters tall

What is the exact circumference of a circle with a radius of 15 cm?
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

(C) 30πcm

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find circumference you use the formula C (circumference)=2(pi)(r) in which r is the radius. In this case, two and 15 are thirty so to find the circumference all you have is the equation 30 times pi centimeters is equal to the Circumference.
