What romantic element is present in this excerpt from rip van winkle?
levacccp [35]

Answer:

There are many romantic elements present in 'RIP Van Winkle'.

Explanation:

Romanticism refers to a style used by the author that focuses on imagination and emotion.

Washington Irving's 'RIP Van Winkle' is a story that is set before and after American Revolution.

In the whole story, Irving seems to be fascinated by nature and admires its beauty. He glorifies the natural world. He also talks about freedom and life at countryside away from war and industrialization. He describes the beauty of nature by addressing 'Hudson' river as lordly and uses personification to describe nature's beauty. For instance , he calls the sky clothed in blue and purple clouds.

State at least one barriers in communication. How can you overcome thisbarrier?
vampirchik [111]
One barrier in communication is being deaf (hard of hearing). This can cause many difficulties in communication due to people not hearing you. Although to overcome this barrier we can learn ASL (American sign language) to speak to each other in another language using our hands.
This is just an example but the main focus is dead and ASL to overcome hope this helps :)

I need the sammary of the poem "A Heritage of Trees" by David Horsburgh
lana [24]
This poem A Heritage of Trees is not a ryhming poem. There is no ryhme scheme. The lines are short and there is no metre. No line has a set number of beats. Compare this poem with some of the ryhming poems in this site. Note that in poetry some words can be left out : e.g. Attack a tree today (on) the road from Mysore to Ooty.
