Write a summary of Narrative of the Life of
taurus [48]

Answer:

Frederick Douglass

Douglass's Narrative is like a highway map, showing us the road from slavery to freedom. At the beginning of the book, Douglass is a slave in both body and mind. When the book ends, he gets both his legal freedom and frees his mind.

American Slave

Frederick Douglass is one of the most celebrated writers in the African American literary tradition, and his first autobiography is the one of the most widely read North American slave narratives. Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave was published in 1845, less than seven years after Douglass escaped from slavery. The book was an instant success, selling 4,500 copies in the first four months. Throughout his life, Douglass continued to revise and expand his autobiography, publishing a second version in 1855 as My Bondage and My Freedom. The third version of Douglass' autobiography was published in 1881 as Life and Times of Frederick Douglass, and an expanded version of Life and Times was published in 1892. These various retellings of Douglass' story all begin with his birth and childhood, but each new version emphasizes the mutual influence and close correlation of Douglass' life with key events in American history.

Living Forever Is Ǟ Wonderful Thing

What is better? Getting up every day being greeted by your beautiful face or a deceiving, horrendous, lifeless face? Being flexible is a better healthier, new way of living. I mean what could you really do if you were stiff and couldn't get up? Nothing right? Do you get the gist of it now? Everyone wants to have a much easier life, a life which feels like its worth living.

As some may feel, the world revolves around them. Why is everything always about us and not others?? The tip of our fingers, our smooth, rough fingers, control the world. Beauty is everything for us especially for females, not trying to be sexist or anything. In average women waste more money on unnecessary things. Also, more time is unfairly wasted on what they look the outside, when they clearly know they aren't as pretty inside. Not saying that males don't do the same but it is a bit different. It is more about their body and not how they legitimately look on the outside. Enough about beauty and body types, but I hope you get my idea. What I am trying to portray here is that; the idea of having to stay beauty is only temporary...unless if you were to live forever.

Now. After this long and boring intro, you must be wondering why living forever is such a good thing. We don't have enough resources in this world for us to live that long. The number of resources we are required has to be stored somewhere so that we are able to use it later on for much greater needs. Also, we would most likely all end up dying from starvation or dehydration and over-cultivating our population. Well as we might have guessed already, us humans are advanced enough to figure out these problems about food shortage. There are many ways in which we may be able to preserve these animals so that we are able to consume food without them running out.

Vegetarians, vegans, and other semi-vegetarianism categories were estimated in 2018 to be about 25% of the world population. This shows that just like these people we should be able to live off by eating vegetables and not as much meat. Even though we get a greater about of calories and energy form meat, we could still adjust with plants and vegetables.

There are many benefits to living forever. The biggest benefit is education. If we were able to live a long life, education would be nothing. You would get many chances in your life to get smarter and more intelligent. We would live long enough to realise our mistakes and resolve ourselves. Not saying that education isn't as important now but just stating the fact that then you would have a longer time to figure the mistakes you have done.

There are some benefits to do with the law. the world's top 5 execution in 2018 were in; China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and the USA. 29 of the 50 states in the USA allow capital punishment. California, which is the most populous state, has the largest death row with over 700 inmates. Why is this significant to "Living Forever"? Well if immortality was real, then the government would have a greater advantage for jailing time, how long it would be for a life sentence.

Hope you get a good grade. I got a distinction for this speech, please make sure to read over this speech and get your peers in class to ask the right questions if it's like that, that is.

What conclusion can readers draw about Charlie based on his description of taking the Rorschach test?
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

On March 4th, when Charlie took the Rorschach Test, he was supposed to view the images of the inkblots and freely imagine what he saw in them. But Charlie only saw the inkblots for what they were: blobs of ink. Even when Burt tells him to imagine, to pretend, to look for something there in the card, Charlie can't. He struggles to give a true description of the cards, pointing out how one was "a very nice pictur of ink with pritty points all around the eges," but again, this isn't the response that the psychologist is looking for.

Like ambiguously shaped clouds in which people "see" images of people and animals, the inkblots have enough random, busy shapes on them for people to interpret them as many different things--people, animals, scenes, conflicts, and so on. The idea is that the psychologist will pay attention to what a person thinks he or she sees in the inkblots, which is supposed to provide insight on what that person thinks and feels overall.

As a result of Charlie's inability to properly take this test, he worries that he's failed and that he won't be a candidate for the treatment to increase his intelligence. And while he gets frustrated with himself during the test, and while Burt seems to get almost angry--as evinced when his pencil point breaks--I wouldn't say that Charlie is angry in this situation.

But what this scene does reveal about his character is that perhaps he's already smarter than we expect. By insisting on seeing the inkblots for what they really are, and by failing to imagine scenes and images that are false or skewed, Charlie shows that he's not just honest but scrupulous. This early evidence of his good character foreshadows the upcoming conflicts he has with the men at the bakery as well as the researchers themselves, who are less scrupulous.
