PLEASE MARK AS est

The features that make Odysseus an epic hero is his courage, bravery, and intellect. The hero of the Greek Epic The Odyssey written by great Greek writer Homer is Odysseus. He is portrayed as a larger than life character who is brave and courageous. Like most of the early Greek heroes he was destined to be a great ruler and he is shown as an ideal man in every aspect. He defeated Cyclops and also killed all the men trying to do wrong to his wife. He is portrayed as an ideal husband. He is also shown to be very intellectual because when he along with his men had entered the Cyclops cave all his men were frightened from the very site of this cave but he remained calm and encouraged his men and used his intelligence to enter the cave from the safest place.

Answer:

Odysseus worried about his crew's safety and constantly made sure they were all doing well. Being a caring leader that can take control, yet also being caring and sensible is a great quality. Odysseus teaches us that returning is what matters, since family and friends are his motivation. Although he might seem cold when it comes to his mates dying and not grieving for too long, this shows a deep understanding and maturity, in my opinion.
