No, they have similar features but in the cells there are differences such as the plant cell having a cell wall and animal cells not having one, etc.

siniylev [52]
If you have an allergic reaction, it means your body cannot handle what you give to it. Say flowers (common) make you sneeze and itch, (like my sister) it is because there's something inside whatever makes you allergic is not good for your body, or your body is not used to it. Can I get a thank you and a rating?

*Hope it helps!!*

Organic matter is essential in soil for it to be able to produce vegetation. What roles do organic matter play in making soil vi
TEA [102]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Organic matter in the soil is significant in making hummus. Hummus, on the other hand, is hygroscopic and therefore holds water and nutrients in the soil and alleviates leaching. This makes these factors available to plants for growth and promotes vegetation growth.

What clues could you use to help determine whether movement of oslutes through the apicl and basolateral cell membranes is passi
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

Clues that can be used to determine whether the movement of solutes through the membrane is passive or active could be the molecule size, membrane potential, and the presence/absence of membrane protein.

Explanation:

Solutes transport through the cellular membrane depends on the solute size, membrane potential, and the presence/absence of integral membrane protein.

There are two types of transport: Active and passive.

- Passive transport: It does not need energy; it is driven by a chemical potential gradient. Small molecules with no charge are transported through the membrane in a gradient favor, from a high concentration region to a low concentration region. There are two types of passive transport: By simple diffusion (small molecules pass through the membrane by themselves) and by facilitated diffusion (molecules are helped by integral membrane proteins to pass through the membrane). In facilitated diffusion, the helping protein can be a channel protein (hydrophilic pores that allow the molecule to pass with no interaction) or a carrier protein (proteins with mobile parts that suffer modification as the molecule pass to the other side).

- Active transport: It does need ATP energy to pass the molecule through the membrane, as they have to move against the electrochemical gradient. This kind of transport is always mediated by a carrier protein. These proteins join with the molecules and suffer changes as they pass the solute to the other side of the membrane. An important example of this kind of transport is the sodium-potassium bomb.

during what phase of a muscle twitch chemical changes such as the release of calicum are according intracelluary as rthe muscles
SOVA2 [1]

During latent phase of a muscle twitch chemical changes such as the release of calicum are according intracelluary as rthe muscles prepare for contractrion.

What are the phases of a twitch contraction?

  • A single contraction is called a twitch. A muscle twitch has a latent period, a contraction phase, and a relaxation phase.
  • A graded muscle response allows variation in muscle tension.

What is a latent period ?

The amount of time that passes between an action potential being generated in a muscle cell and the beginning of muscular contraction.

What is a muscle twitch?

  • The fundamental reaction of a motor unit to a single stimulus is a muscle twitch. Muscle Twitch in three different states .
  • Excitation of the muscle fiber takes place during the latent phase, and calcium ions are released from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cell's cytoplasm.

What happens during latent period of muscle twitch?

  • A single muscle twitch consists of three parts. the contraction phase, the relaxation phase, and the latent period, often known as the lag phase.
  • The action potential reaches the muscle, and the latent period is the brief (1-2 msec) interval before tension is seen in the muscle.
