bija089 [108]

28. -1/3=r-3/4

Move -3/4 to the other side. Sign changes from -3/4 to +3/4

-1/3+ 3/4=r-3/4+3/4

-1/3+3/4=r

Find the common denominator for both of the fractions which is 12. Multiply by 4 for -1/3. Multiply by 3 for 3/4.

-1/3(4)+3/4(3)= -4/12+9/12= 5/12

33. -5/6+c=-11/12

c=-11/12+5/6

Find the common denominator which is 12 for 5/6. Multiply by 2. 5*2=10, 6*2=12

c=-11/12+10/12=-1/12

34. s-1/9=5/18

s-1/9+1/9=5/18+1/9

Find the common denominator which is 18. Mutiply by 2 for 1/9 . 1*2=2, 9*2=18

s=5/18+2/18=7/18

If you roll a six-sided die, what is the probability of rolling a five or an even number? *
mars1129 [50]

Answer:

The probability would be a 4/6 or 66.67%

Step-by-step explanation:

All of the even numbers (and five) on a six sided die are 2, 4, 5, and 6.

That is four total numbers.

Also, since there are six sides on the cube, you would have a 4/6 chance or 66.67% chance of rolling a 2, 4, 5, or a 6.

Hope this helps!!!!!!

Evaluate h-2g for h = 4 and g = 32.
IRISSAK [1]

We have a subtraction between two terms: h and 2g. Let's see the value of each term:

h is 4, it's already given.

2g means twice g, and g is 32. So, 2g is 64

So, the subtraction is

4-64 = -60
