Answer:

Alexander's death was sudden and his empire disintegrated into a 40-year period of war and chaos in 321 BCE. The Hellenistic world eventually settled into four stable power blocks: the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, the Seleucid Empire in the east, the Kingdom of Pergamon in Asia Minor, and Macedon.

After the death of Alexander the Great in 323 B.C., anti-Macedonian sentiment again forced Aristotle to flee Athens. He died a little north of the city in 322, of a digestive complaint. He asked to be buried next to his wife, who had died some years before.

In honor of Rosa Parks contribution to the civil rights movement, the seat behind the driver on buses in major cities was reserv
pickupchik [31]

Answer:

Making the assumption that these people were prejudiced or racist is an example of the correspondence bias.

Explanation: On December 1st, 1955, Rosa Parks was commuting back home by bus, when the driver asked her and three other African Americans to stand up from their seats so that white passengers could seat there. While the three other passengers complied with the driver's order, Rosa Parks denied to do so, which ended up with her arrest, and later on with a social movement that decided to boycott the buses in Montgomery during Rosa Parks' trial. Although most of the people decided to leave the first seat behind the driver empty in honor of Rosa Parks, some of them actually seat on it anyways. Assuming that these people were racists is an example of a correspondence bias. A correspondence bias is the tendency to draw inferences about a person's personality based on a unique and specific observed behavior. There are many circumstances and reasons as to why that people sat on the seat that was meant to be empty that would not make them instantly perceived as racist or prejudiced, but assuming that they are based on that one action would be an example of a correspondence bias.

ser-zykov [4K]

Answer: Using operant conditioning terminology, straightening the wire hanger and poking it behind the dryer would be the operant and the retrieved sock would be the reinforcing stimulus.

Explanation:

Operant stimulus is when there is a result known as "three-term contingency." The behavior or action can result in an award or even a punishment depending on the occasion.

Reinforcing stimulus is when a certain behavior is performed and the response is strengthened or decreased depending on the action taken. In this case, the soc was retrieved because Dolores used the wire hanger. This could of been a decreased behavior is she had not of straightened the wire hanger and the sock was not retrieved.

The four types of reinforcing stimulus and operant stimulus are; extinction, negative, positive, and punishment.
