Listed below, you will find three passive learning scenarios. Choose one scenario and explain how you could turn it into active

learning instead.
If you are having trouble coming up with active study ideas, check out the link below. It lists different types of study materials, how you may passively study them, and how you could instead actively study the same materials.

Convert Your Passive Studying to Active Studying (Links to an external site.)

Scenarios (choose one):

You took very detailed notes in class while the teacher lectured. You decide that the best way to study for your upcoming exam is to re-read your notes.
Your teacher has assigned a chapter out of your textbook for you to read and take a quiz over. You keep zoning out as you read the chapter, so you start over and re-read.
Your teacher assigned 10 math problems as homework. You solve all 10 problems and submit your assignment without checking your work or looking at the sample problems.

At noon the readings on a sling psychrometer are 18 c for the dry bulb and 14 c for the wet bulb . What is the relative humidity
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

65%

Explanation:

The relative humidity is the amount of water vapor in air compared to the amount that it can normally hold. This quantity varies with temperature. A high temperature generally tends to hold more water vapor.

Given parameters:

Dry bulb reading = 18°C

Wet bulb reading = 14°C

Unknown:

Relative humidity = ?

To solve this, obtain the difference between the wet and dry bulb temperature;

Temperature difference = Dry bulb reading - Wet bulb reading

                                                =    18°C - 14°C

                                                  =     4°C

Now we would compare this value with that of the relative humidity table.

The dry bulb and temperature reading should be traced for the point where they coincide, this will give the relative humidity = 65%

They experienced a dreadful journey. The slaves were tightly packed into ships. There was not much fresh air to breathe and the stench was horrible.
