Alisiya [41]

Answer: The Enlightenment means a kind of scientific revolution.

The Enlightenment is always associate with political revolutions.

Enlightenment brought with it great advances which, together with the Industrial Revolution, made room for the profound political change determined by the French Revolution. The forerunner of this movement was the French mathematician Rene Descartes (1596-1650), considered the father of rationalism. In his book Discourse of Method, he recommends, in order to get to the truth, to doubt everything, even the seemingly true things. From rational doubt one can reach the understanding of the world, and even of God.

How did enlightenment and the great awakening affect the way people thought
monitta
The Great Awakening was a religious movement in the 1730s to 1740s. It was an emotional religious revival that swept throughout America. It changed the way people thought because they gave sermons and made people want to be more involved in the local church to avoid going to the opposite of heaven like the preachers would say would happen if they didn't get involved and involve their lives around god.
