because global warming is the idea that the earth is slowly getting warmer. people don't believe that because it isn't completely true. climate change is real tho and I think people confuse the two. climate change is the idea the the climate is shifting not just getting warmer

Answer:

One reason why some deny that climate change exists is because of their own personal experiences. Those who live in the American Midwest might point out that they still have snow and ice in the winter. As the weathers they witnessed stay the same, they assume that climate change can’t exist because it would otherwise change their experiences. Those who believe in climate change point out that the seasons did change in recent years. Those living in the American Midwest may notice that winters are a little milder and that summer starts earlier and feels hotter and more humid.

Which answer places the following events in proper order for pulmonary ventilation?
MArishka [77]

Answer:

The sequence is b, a, d, c.

Explanation:

Pulmonary ventilation may be defined as be defined as the simple process of intake of oxygen and exhale of carbon dioxide known as breathing. Diaphragm contracts during inspiration and relax during exhalation.

The pulomonary ventilation occurs when the skeletal muscle contraction occur by the stimulation from the brainstem nuclei. This leads to the changes in the volume of the thoracic cavity. The thorax changes its shape by contraction and relaxation, this leads to the pressure change. Then air flows down the pressure gradient.

Thus, the correct sequence is b, a, d, c.

How does binding of complement-opsonized microbes to CR1 facilitate clearing of the microbe from the host? a. Secretion of proin
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

The correct answer is - b. All of the answers occur as a result of CR1 binding of complement-opsonized microbes.

Explanation:

Binding of complement - opsonized to CR1 makes the microbe palatable to the phagocyte for the phagocytosis and removes the microbe from the host cell. The mechanism of the removal takes place by the promotion of phagocytosis by the leukocytes.

Secretion of the pro-inflammatory cytokines also takes place in the clearing of the microbe and the phagocytosis is mediated by the B cells of the C3b-opsonized pathogen.
