Answer:

During the morning at Dog Man's house, Li'l Petey sprints upstairs and tells Dog Man and 80-HD that the show, "The Fair Fairy" is about to start, so they all start running for the TV and sit down to watch it. Downward Dog (The Fair Fairy's Puppet) Starts to Tell the Fair Fairy about a bungle last week where the Fair Fairy went bonkers and smashed a couple of bowls filled with ice cream, sending two kids running for their life. Even though the Fair Fairy claims it will not happen again, She goes bonkers again and smashes a kid's toy, forcing Dog Man to turn off the television, because the show feels like a horror movie. Li'l Petey asks Dog Man, "Was that show inappropriate?"

- How would you describe the tone and purpose

of these excerpts from Reagan's speech?
horrorfan [7]

This question is about the speech "Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall"

Answer:

Reagan had an appealing tone, but with authority. His purpose was to win the public's attention and show that he was committed to destroying the limitation that the Germans were going through because of the Berlin wall.

Explanation:

Reagan's speech, despite showing authority, was appealing, as he asked for the Berlin wall to be broken down, but showed that he would fight for it.

Reagan used this type of positioning because he wanted to reach the empathy of the audience that was listening to him, showing that he respected them and understood the situation in which they lived, but also showed that he was willing to fight and take the people out of what oppressed them.
