Identifying trig ratios no diagram Plz help

Mathematics

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

MN = 89

ON = 39

MO = 80

You can draw your own diagram. Start with the right angle at O. No just label one end (other than O) equal to M. Label the other end of the right angle as N. Don't worry it doesn't look right. All will come out in the wash when you do the ratios.

Join MN

MN is the hypotenuse. Label it as 89 somewhere near the middle.

ON is 39 and MO is 80.

Now you want the Tangent of <M.

Tangent of M = Opposite / Adjacent. You have to actually do this. The opposite side of <M is the one that does not contain the letter M. It is NO.

The adjacent side is not the hypotenuse and does contain the letter M. It is OM

opposite = NO = 39

opposite = MO = 80

Tan<M = 39/80 = 0.4875

I really suggest you go through all the steps. You will a lot by doing it.

To find a segment parallel to another segment and through a given point using paper folding techniques requires two steps, The f
valkas [14]
The answer is true. Line segments can be able to intersect or be parallel to each other.

Think about the parallel lines as failing to meet each other, regardless of the amount you would proceed with them to both headings. These lines converge. These lines are parallel. Parallel lines are two lines that are dependably a similar separation separated and never touch. All together for two lines to be parallel, they should be attracted a similar plane, a consummately level surface like a divider or sheet of paper.

Answer:

You = 50 mph

Friend = 30 mph

Step-by-step explanation:

You = \frac{250-150}{5-2} = \frac{100}{2} = 50

Friend = \frac{240-120}{8-4} = \frac{120}{4} = 30

Use slope formula.

Draw a line representing the "rise" and a line representing the "run" of the line. State the slope of the line in simplest form.
stealth61 [152]

Answer:

See attachment showing the rise and run

Slope = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

In the diagram attached below, the rise is represented by the blue line, while the run is represented by the red line.

Rise = 4 units

Run = 4 units

It's a positive slope because the line slopes upwards from left to right

Slope = rise/run = 4/4

Slope = 1
