Answer: On April 22, 1889, the day that the government had set aside for the settlement, the crowd in the Oklahoma white settlement land was overwhelming. When the signal for the process of land registration was raised, thousands of people rushed across the border as the Oklahoma land rush began. The Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 was the first land run into the Unassigned Lands of former Indian Territory, which had earlier been assigned to the Creek and Seminole peoples. The area that was opened to settlement included all or part of the Canadian, Cleveland, Kingfisher, Logan, Oklahoma, and Payne counties of the present-day US state of Oklahoma.

During the 1920 presidential election, Warren Harding made the idea of the "return to normalcy" central to his campaign. This id
Nuetrik [128]

The Harding's campaign promises of a return to "normalcy," supported the adoption of an isolationist policy and a series of measure that would return America to the way it was before the war; this idea appealed to voters who were affected by the tension and fighting during WW I and all the damages it had caused, and to those who wanted to return to the way of life before World War I, adopt an isolationist policy rather than getting involved in international treaties or organizations (such as the League of Nations) and to focus on domestic issues.

Why did the idea of republican motherhood lead to increased education for some women?
zzz [600]

Answer: The correct answer is A; Women were tasked with educating the next generation, and thus needed to be educated themselves.

Explanation:

The phrase or term Republican Motherhood was started in the 1980s. This idea was based on books written by John Locke. He has several ideas that were based on revolutionary ideas of republicanism.

Christians loved this idea because mothers would be able to pass down the family's religious views and values to generations.

Women were then opened many doors to education that they did not have before. This was so that they could educate their children about things that they learned. They also had more of a public role in women's rights, abolitionism, and had more chances of being teachers, etc.
