Answer:

#1) -3 feet

#2) 5hours

Step-by-step explanation:

#1) you need to find the rate of change- feet per minute

To find the rate, divide -12 feet by 4 minutes (the twelve in negative because it decreases, almost like subtraction)

-12/4= -3 feet per minute.

Now, multiply by amount of minutes- -3x1=  -3 feet in 1 minute

#2) To find the maount of degrees each hour,

divide 10 degrees by 2 degrees per hour.

10/2=5 hours

Hope this helps :)- please give me brainliest!!

If d is the midpoint of ce, ce=10x+18 and de=7x-1, find x
sashaice [31]
Given that D is the mid point of CE ,

So D will bisect CE, it means the length of DE and CD is equal.

=> DE + CD = CE

As DE and CD are equal,

=> DE + DE = CE

=> 2 DE = CE

Putting values from the question,

=> 2( 7x - 1 ) = 10x + 18

=> 14x - 2 = 10x + 18

=> 14x - 10x = 18 + 2

=> 4x = 20

=> x = 20 / 4

=> x = 10 / 2

=> x = 5

.

Therefore, the value of x is 5

Approximately how many meters are equal to 11.4 feet?Note: 1 m≈3.3 ftRound your answer to the nearest hundredths.
notka56 [123]

Alright, lets get started.

We are asked, approximately how many meters are equal to 11.4 feet.

We have given that,

3.3  feet = 1 meter

So,  1 feet = \frac{1}{3.3} meter

So, 11.4 feet = 11.4 *\frac{1}{3.3} meter

11.4 feet = \frac{11.4}{3.3} meter

11.4 feet = 3.45 meters   :    Answer

Hope it will help :)
