Geography

Answer:

Silk Roads, Sea Roads, and Sand Roads?

Explanation:

The desire of elites for hard-to-find luxury items

from distant parts of the Eurasian network, as well as

the accumulation of wealth, especially among

merchants who participated in the trade, motivated

long-distance commerce. Sustaining the commerce were the support of empires and smaller states that benefited directly from the trade; the spread of religious traditions, including Islam and Buddhism, that through shared beliefs tied merchants and sometimes whole societies together over wide regions; and the development of technologies like larger ships and the magnetic compass.

Which has a greater effect on the volume? Changing the radius by a given amount or changing the height by the same amount?
kherson [118]

doubling the radius will have a greater effect

v of cylinder=pi x square of radius x hieght

lets take an example,r=2,h=2

v=8pi

doubling the hieght,h=4

v=16pi ie twice the initial volume

doubling the radius,r=4

v=pi x 16 x 2

=32 pi ie four times the initial volume

therefore radius makes a bigger difference

How did European and American Indian cultures learn from one another?
Anton [14]

Answer:

These were the people the European explorers met when their ships landed in America. Europeans were used to these diseases, but Indian people had no resistance to them. Sometimes the illnesses spread through direct contact with colonists. Other times, they were transmitted as Indians traded with one another.
