BRUTUS: . . . I say that Brutus’ love to Caesar was no less than his. If then that friend demand why Brutus rose against Caesar,

this is my answer: not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more. . . . As Caesar loved me, I weep for him. As he was fortunate, I rejoice at it. As he was valiant, I honor him. But as he was ambitious, I slew him. There is tears for his love, joy for his fortune, honor for his valor, and death for his ambition. Who is here so base that would be a bondman? If any, speak, for him have I offended. Who is here so rude that would not be a Roman? If any, speak, for him have I offended. Who is here so vile that will not love his country? If any, speak, for him have I offended. I pause for a reply. Which statement summarizes the main idea of Brutus’ speech?

Brutus didn't want to kill his friend but wanted to kill his over zealous need for more power, so Brutus did what needed to be done by killing his only friend and try to end his crazed hunger for power. Though his friend died he till wished it didn't have to end in Caesar dying, so after Brutus slew his friend he morns his death, and feels guilt following him so he repeats for forgiveness.

bearhunter [10]

Answer:

Narrative essay.

Explanation:

A narrative essay is a type of writing that tells a story. Generally, narrative essays talk of personal experiences or stories relating to one's personal events.

In talking about her soccer team's championship victory in chronological order, Kelly is using the linear narrative technique. She presents the events in the order they occur, listing or taking the events one after the other and not intermixing the order.

Thus, Kelly's essay is a narrative type of essay.

Name before indexing. Regina Wells Nitka comes before Regis Walter Nitka. true or false
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer: True

Explanation:

Question requires the order of the names after indexing.

Names need to be indexed before they are ordered alphabetically.

Indexing means to put it in the following order:

Surname ⇒ First name ⇒ Middle name or initial

Indexing those names will be:

Regina Wells Nitka ⇒ Nitka Regina Wells

Regis Walter Nitka ⇒ Nitka Regis Wells

After indexing, Regina Wells Nitka will come before Regis Walter Nitka on account of the n in Regina coming before the s in Regis.
