Use specific examples from Joseph Priestley’s experiment to explain the relationship between what he observed and what he inferr
Temka [501]
Joseph Priestley is an 18th century natural philosopher who is famous in his experiments in electricity, air, optics and soda water. His works are qualitative rather than quantitative because he does not concern himself with theories but practical applications.
His experiment in electricity through replication of other experiments lead to the publication of his book known as History of Electricity. He observed that electricity conducts through certain materials like coal and that electricity flow from conductors to non-conductors.With this experiments he concluded that conductivity is related to chemical property.
Another experiment that lead to a famous discovery is placing a mice in closed container with mercuric oxide. He concluded that the mice survived sometime because of common air-oxygen. He then  relate oxygen in respiration and its use in the blood.

The client with chronic kidney disease and congestive heart failure is weak and dyspneic. Lab work reveals a hemaglobin of 6.5 g
inysia [295]

Answer:

packed RBC

Explanation:

  • Packed red blood cells consist of red blood cells that are separated from the rest of the blood components and are used for transfusion.
  • When the hemoglobin of a person falls below 70–80 g/L (7–8 g/dL), then the person is usually transfused with packed RBC.
  • In the given situation, the client has chronic kidney disease and congestive heart failure and as a result of this, the hemoglobin levels of the client has fallen down 6.5 g/dL (65 g/L) and thus, there is an immediate need for the provider to perform a transfusion of packed RBC of appropriate blood type as RBCs are a carrier of hemoglobin in the body.
