Answer:

Ancho:   x

Largo:  2x + 4

PERÍMETRO DEL RECTÁNGULO:

                        P = 2(Largo) + 2(Ancho)

luego pasa por este:

          32 = 2(2x + 4) + 2x

          32 = 4x + 8 + 2x

          32 = 6x + 8

     32 - 8 = 6x

          24 = 6x

       24/6 = x

            4 = x

Lo cambias por este:

Ancho:   x = 4 pies

Largo:  2x + 4 pies = 2(4 pies) + 4 pies = 12 pies <u><em>es de PERRITOS1000</em></u>

Answer:

\huge\boxed{x=\sqrt{70}}

Step-by-step explanation:

ΔABC and ΔADB are similar (AAA).

Therefore the corresponging sides are in proportion:

\dfrac{AB}{AD}=\dfrac{AC}{AB}

Substitute:

AB=x\\AC=7+3=10\\AD=7

\dfrac{x}{7}=\dfrac{10}{x}       <em>cross multiply</em>

(x)(x)=(7)(10)\\\\x^2=70\to x=\sqrt{70}
