Help me on 5 and 6 plssssss
Alex Ar [27]
For number 5, you just plug -2 into x. We now have g(-2)=3(-2)+1. This gives us g(-2)=-5.

This is the same for 6. h(-6)=-3(-6)-2. This gives us h(-6)=16.

The answer is g(-2)=-5. The other answer is h(-6)=16.

How is multiplication using partial products different from multiplication using regrouping?How are they similar?
jeka57 [31]
Partial products are different because partial product you have 2 product when you add together gives you the answer and in regular multiplying it just straight gives you the answer without adding anything.Partial products is easier if you don't know your multiplying facts.They are similar because they both give you the same answer just using different ways of doing it
Hope this helped:-)

You work in a store that sells rugs. One rug has a tag that states that it covers 104 square feet and is 13 feet long. how wide
Sav [38]

Answer:

W = 8 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The rug is rectangular in shape.

Area of a rectangle = Length x Breadth

Given

Area = 104 square feet

length = 13

Therefore

104 = 13 x w

Divide both sides by 13

104/13 = 13/13 x w

8 = w

W = 8 feet

The rug is 8 feet wide

Create the equation of the line that passes through the point (1, -10) and is perpendicular to y=-1/3x+5
Ber [7]

Answer:

y = 3x - 13

Step-by-step explanation:

y = -1/3x + 5

Perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals of one another

so slope of perpendicular line is 3

y = mx + b

y = 3x + b

Using (1,-10)

-10 = 3(1) + b

-10 = 3 + b

b = -13

y = 3x - 13
