Which important event occurred during the Industrial and scientific revolutions?
klemol [59]

The answer is D: The practice of a new philosophy called Enlightened Thinking.

Although they are different historical moments —the scientific revolution being associated with the Renaissance and the Industrial revolution with the Economic transformation during the 18th and 19th centuries— they are, nevertheless the two main causes of the rise of The Age of Enlightenment —which started at the beginning of the 18th century—, and which was a  philosophical movement that in a definitive manner separated thought from theology and developed science and knowledge based on reason and demonstrability, changing the sociopolitical landscape of Europe forever.

Andru [333]
A and D can be thrown out immediately...she is a Senator she better be supporting her arguments with actual evidence. Also, in the text the paragraph that says women are "ready to fight back" includes the evidence stated in options B and C. Option C is not as strong because it just says that the Paycheck Fairness Act gives "women the tools" but not actually what those tools. B is the best answer because it explains what those tools do.
