In the morning she worked 3 hours and 45 minutes. In the afternoon she worked 5 hours and 15 minutes. That is a total of 9 hours. At $16.50 per hour for 8 hours that comes to $132. Plus the 1 hour over time with breaks down to $18.50 plus $8.25 totaling $24.75. Add that to the $132 and she made a total of $156.75 for Wednesday’s work. I hope this helps with your question.

Answer:

I might have this wrong but I think it would be 156.75

That's if where it says she earns one and a half means time and a half. Then that would be 16.50 Plus half of 16.50 which is 8.25. if she worked over 1 hour plus her normal 8 hours.

16.50 x 8 = 132.00 +24.75 for the 1 extra hour over = 156.75

Let y be inversely proportional to x. if x doubles, what happens to y?
Mila [183]
When it is said that a variable is inversely proportional to another, it is best to write out an equation to represent it.

This means;

y=k/x (where k is a constant number like 1 or 2, etc)

If you double x, the value of y is halved. I have attached a graph that shows this.

Hope I helped :)

I WILL GIVE BRAINLIST AND 5 STARS <br> Show that (2x + i)(2x – i) = 4x² + 1
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

(2x + i)(2x – i)

FOIL

first  2x*2x =4x^2

outer  -i * 2x = 2x i

inner i * 2x = 2x i

last i * -i = -i^2  and i^2 = -1  so - (i^2 ) = - (-1) = 1

Add together

4x^2 + 2xi -2x i +1

Combine like terms

4x^2 +1
