Imagine that you are a woman in 1915, fighting for the right to vote. You and a group of women have gathered in the town square
svp [43]

Answer:

Women's suffrage is basically the right to vote, but it means something more than that to us. It shows people that we are stronger than they think we are. We may not be as physically strong as men, but we are very strong. If we set our mind towards something we can and we will complete that. We are doing this to recieve the right to vote, but most of all we are doing this to show womens' worth.

Hope this helps, and I had fun writing this one lol!! :)

Use the following passage to answer the question. (1) Water is something most of us take for granted. (2) If we need a cold drin
Digiron [165]
The correct answer is (12) It was started in 2009 by actor Matt Damon and Gary White, the co-founder of Water partners. The word that should be capitalized is partners: Water Partners. The noun "partner" is normally a common noun, which means it shouldn't be capitalized in normal circumstances. However, here it represents the name of a company which is called Water Partners. It is just like with Warner Brothers (even though it's abbreviated as Warner Bros) - brothers is normally a common noun, but in this case, it is part of the company's name.

When two statements are connected with the word or, the new statement is called a____. A. conjunction. B. disjunction. C. condit
lawyer [7]

Answer:

B. Disjunction.

Explanation:

To answer this question we need to know what disjunction means.

When two statements are connected with the word 'or', the new statement is called a disjunction. In other words, a disjunction is a compound sentence formed by using the word 'or' to join two simple sentences.

As for other options:

 • A conjunction is wrong because it would connect the statements with 'and'
 • Conditional is wrong because it would connect the statements with 'if'
 • The converse is wrong because it would connect the statements with 'no'.

I hope it helped you :)
