Answer:

12liters/3 days = 4 liters/1 day

Step-by-step explanation:

so if Warren continues to go at the same speed he will jar 20 liters in 5 days

D=Days

L=Liters of jam

12L÷3D=4  =  4L/1D

Two equations are shown:
gregori [183]
The value of x is 24 because 24-12=12
I worked it out by doing the opposite so by doing 12+12
Then the value of y is also 24 and I used the same method

Rationalise the denominator.
grin007 [14]

Let's see what to do buddy...

_________________________________

To do this, we have to multiply the face and denominator of the fraction by the denominator conjunction, which is :

(5 -\sqrt{2})

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

Reminder :

(a + b)(a - b) =  {a}^{2} -  {b}^{2}  \\

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

So we have :

\frac{1}{ 5-\sqrt{2} } \times  \frac{ 5+\sqrt{2}  }{ 5 +\sqrt{2}  } =  \frac{1 \times ( 5 +\sqrt{2}) }{(5- \sqrt{2} )( 5 +\sqrt{2})  } =  \\

The other is in the photo.

And we're done.

Thanks for watching buddy good luck.

The sum of two trinomials is 6x2 − 5x + 4. If one of the trinomials is 4x2 + 3x − 2, then what is the other trinomial?
Vadim26 [7]
Subtract the known trinomial from the total sum:

6x2 - 5x + 4 - 4x2 + 3x - 2 = 2X^2 -8x +6
I hope this helps :)

Find the value of x in the proportion. Check your answer.<br> 35/x=7/13<br> x=?
maks197457 [2]
This is super simple. Begin with cross multiplying

35/x=7/13 becomes (35)*(13)=(7) *(x)

Then multiply my love muffin, you get...

455=7x

divide both sides by 7

65=x
-or-
x=65

hope that helped :)
