Answer:

The Tariff of 1828 was a protective tariff passed by the Congress of the United States on May 19, 1828, designed to protect industry in the northern United States.

As a result, Americans manufactured their own products. To protect infant manufacturers, Congress passed the nation’s first protective tariff: the tariff of 1816.

Jackson saw the threat of secession as a threat to federal authority and he stated that he would personally lead an army into South Carolina in order to enforce federal control. South Carolina backed down from its secession threat when other states did not join in protesting the tariff and secession.

1).What was the purpose of the Monroe DOctrine?
IgorLugansk [536]
1) To warn European Powers not to get involved with the affairs of the Western Hemisphere. That the Western Hemisphere would not further be colonized by Europeans, and the U.S. would leave existing Colonies alone; not involved in their International affairs or wars.
2) President James Monroe wanted to make sure that Europe did not take Spain's colonies, as many were on the verge of their own independence. Prussia, Austria, and Russia had formed the Holy Alliance with the goal of defending monarchical government. It was a precaution really.
3) The United States was prosperous, as we no longer had to worry about wars, we could focus on trade to gain a better economy. Also the Europeans benefited from the fact that they could not stand another war and win, due to previous wars which had left them disorganized and slowly building back the economy.

What happened to the camps created for the Civilian Conservation Corps during WWII
astra-53 [7]
Well the CCC gave lots of jobs to people during the depression, so during WWII, when Men were away at war, Women somewhat stepped into the Men's shoes at jobs such as in factories, this is also where we start to see the development of Rosie the Riveter, a tough factory woman; this painted a new image for woman as well, since before then their common spot was at home.
