Answer:

Susan makes 5 fruit cups

each fruit cup has 5 strawberries and 3 kiwis

so the number of strawberries used is - 5 x 5 = 25 strawberries

and the number of kiwis used - 5 x 3 = 15 kiwis

so the total number of fruits - 25 + 15 = 40 fruits

Joanna uses 40 fruits to make 4 fruit cups

each cup she uses 8 strawberries

therefore total number of strawberries she uses - 8x 4 = 32 strawberries

she has 40 fruits in total and 32 of those are strawberries

the rest are kiwis

number of kiwis = 40 -32 = 8

8 kiwis are there and she has to make 4 cups

so for each cup number of kiwis = 8 / 4 = 2

so each cup has 2 kiwis

Answer:

50 + 1 + \frac{2}{10} + \frac{4}{100} + \frac{2}{1,000}

Step-by-step explanation:

This is the answer because:

1) 50 and 1 equal to 51

2) The fraction forms of a decimal number is: the decimal number/the decimal number place value

3) Therefore, the answer is 50 + 1 + \frac{2}{10} + \frac{4}{100} + \frac{2}{1,000}

Hope this helps!

Verdich [7]

Answer:

The height of the given rectangular prism is 5cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the volume of the rectangular prism is 5cm^3

And length is \frac{3}{4} and width is 1\frac{1}{3}

That is V=5cm^3[/tex] , l=\frac{3}{4}cm and w=1\frac{1}{3}cm

We have the  volume of the rectangular prism V=lwh cubic centimeter

V=lwhcm^3

Substituting the values in above formula

5=\frac{3}{4}\times 1\frac{1}{3}\times h

5=\frac{3}{4}\times \frac{4}{3}\times h

5=1\times h

5=h

Rewritting as below

h=5cm

Therefore the height is 5cm

Y=3x²+3x+1,find the value of the discrimination
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 3

b = 3

c  = 1

Discriminate = sqrt(b^2 - 4ac)

Discriminate = sqrt(9 - 4*3*1)

Discriminate = sqrt(9 - 12)

Discriminate = sqrt(-3)

What negative value means that there are no real roots and the y intercept = 1. You should always graph this kind of question, which I am doing for you. I use Desmos which is a very handy program.

You should notice that the minimum is above the x axis. That means there are no real roots, just as the discriminate tells you.
