The sixth grade art students are making a mosaic using tiles in the shape of right triangles.Each tile has leg measures of 3 cen
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

Am = 1500 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

If you mean leg around the right angle a = 3 cm and b = 5 cm then :

Formula for calculating area of the right triangle is:

A = a · b / 2  since we have 200 triangles, area of the mosaic is:

Am = 200 · A = 200 · a b / 2 = 200 · 3 · 5 / 2 = 1500 cm²

Am = 1500 cm²

God with you!!!

Can someone explain just 17-28??
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

you solve these by plugging the numbers into pythagorean theorem which is

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 (a squared plus b squared equal c squared)

C is the hypotenuse which is the longest side across from the right angel (assuming all these problems are for right triangles)

so 17 would be 9.5^2 + 3.8^2 = c^2

So 90.25 + 14.44 = c^2

104.69=c^2

Then to solve for c take the square root of each side and get

10.23=c

To do the other ones where a or b doesn’t have a value, it’s almost the same but you just have to plug in the variables in different places and solve it

Jeremy is shopping online for skating equipment. He buys a longboard complete with trucks and wheels for $146.25. At checkout, J
Anastaziya [24]
To solve this, you would need to determine the difference. To do this, you would simply subtract the discount from the total price.
$146.25 - $21 = $125.25

The final amount Jeremy will be billed is $125.25.

I hope this helps!
