V (-1,-9)
Y=1(x+1)^2-9
If you’re talking about the value of x in the quadratic equation then it is x=-4 &x=2
First you find the slope using y2-y1/x2-x1
which would be -6 and then to find the y-intercept plug in either (-3,-1) or (-4,-7) in x and y and plug in the slope -6
-1=-6(-3)+b
-1=18+b
-18. -18
-19=b
y=-6x -9
42+7a= 7(6+a)
By noticing they both have a factor of 7, I was able to find the equation.
