Answer:

The Scientific method is the process people go through to answer a question using science.

Explanation:

In the scientific method they're usually six steps to solving your question:

 1. Ask a question
 2. Do your research
 3. Make a hypothesis
 4. Conduct a experiment to test your hypothesis
 5. Analyze and draw a conclusion using the data found from your experiment.
 6. Share your results.

Finding a answer to a question using science requires work. You need to first find your question, and then do your research on that topic to find out how you can find the answer for yourself. Make a prediction on the answer, and conduct a experiment to test your prediction, have multiple trials to insure you have valid results. Then finally analyze your results and use the data you find to draw your conclusion/answer to your question.

Hope this helps.

Name two types of evidence used to support the theory of evolution. Explain how scientists use each type of evidence to provide
TEA [102]
Evidence for evolution, in other words evidence of common descent, include fossils, which have shown a (fairly) steady change in morphology over time for some species. An example would be horse hooves: we have fossils that show when they were still three toed, then two toed, then one toe in our present day horses. Another piece of evidence is vestigial organs. An example of vestigial organs is wings in some flightless birds, such as the kiwi. Their ancestors used it in order to fly across the marine barrier into New Zealand, but natural selection and random genetic drift made them quickly lose the ability to fly. Nonetheless, they still have their wings, however small. It can be assumed that eventually, their wings would be reduced to small stubs fused to other nearby bones, as has been observed in their cousins.

A recessive allele causes phenylketonuria (PKU) when homozygote. If the frequency of the recessive allele is 0.05 in the populat
Radda [10]

Answer:

0.095

Explanation:

Phenylkentonuria is a disease caused by a recessive allele.

The frequency of the recessive allele + the frequency of the dominant allele equals 1.

The frequency of the recessive allele is q = 0.05

The frequency of the dominant allele then is p = 1 - q = 0.95

If people mate randomly, the frequency of the homozygous dominant genotype will be p², the frequency of the heterozygous genotype will be 2pq and the frequency of the homozygous recessive genotype will be q² .

2pq=2× 0.05 × 0.95

2pq=0.095

The heterozygote frequency in the population is 0.095

Forms of the Ras protein found in tumors usually cause which of the following events to occur? excessive cell division decreased
Bas_tet [7]

The Ras protein found in tumors usually cause which of the following events to occur excessive cell division.

How does Ras oncogene contribute to cancer?

Ras genes codes for proteins that can drive cancer when mutated.

All Ras proteins are GTPases which work as molecular regulators in the cell, controlling signaling pathways and other interactions.

Carlos is a healthy but sedentary college student. he weighs 175 pounds. about how many grams of protein should he consume each
MatroZZZ [7]
Carlos will have to consume about 63 gram of protein per day.
The dietary reference intake of protein is 0.8 gram of protein per kilogram body weight or 0.36 gram per pound. Carlos is 175 pounds in weight, so he is going to need 0.36 * 175 = 63. Thus, Carlos needs 63 grams of protein per day.
