1) $1380.00 2) $115.70

Step-by-step explanation:

You divide 1200 by 100 and then you multiply that by the percentage and based on if it is discount - or upcharge +. 1200/100=12 Then 12x15=180 And then 1200+180=1380 And thats how you get your answer. Enjoy <3

The unit for area is unit^2. You area for a rectangle is one of the easiest formula in math. A = LW
There’s a few ways to do this. But you essentially want to find the area for each rectangle and add them together.

We can do the two rectangles on the left, bedroom 1 and 3, by doing 3.5 x (4.25+3.75) = 31.5 in^2

Now do bedroom 2, we have to do 7.5 - 3.5 to get the width of the room since it wasn’t given directly. The width is 4 and we have the length of 3.5. Do 4 x 3.5 to get 14 in^2

31.5 + 14 = 45.5 in^2

We’re not done yet because they want it in ft^2 and we’re given 1 inch = 4 feet
Just do 45.5 x 4 to get 182 ft^2
