Answer:

Well, I'm not sure on what your life at home is like but I do know somethings that I do to help with my stress and anxiety. I tend to do some sketches of people, things or just something random. You could read a book that you like to refresh yourself with, you could play video games (If your parents allow you too) to help relieve some stress. Do some type of crafts or maybe just find a place that isn't busy and walk around for awhile to clear your mind.

The product of some negative number and 4 less than twice that number is 286 find the number
Naya [18.7K]
Let's say that number is hmmm "a"

now.. twice "a" is 2*a or 2a
4 less than that is " 2a - 4"

now, the product of those two fellows is 286, well ok

a( 2a - 4) = 286

thus

\bf a(2a-4)=286\implies 2a^2-4a^2=286\implies a^2-2a^2=143
\\\\\\
a^2-2a^2-143=0\implies (a-13)(a+11)=0
\\\\\\
\begin{cases}
a-13=0\implies &a=13\\
a+11=0\implies &\boxed{a=-11}
\end{cases}

Miss Viera bought 3 1/3 pounds of bananas 2 1/2 pounds of grapes and 5.75 pounds of apples how many pounds of fruit did Ms.Viera
Semenov [28]

Answer:

11 7/12 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

1. \frac{10}{3} + \frac{5}{2} + \frac{23}{4}

2. \frac{10}{3} + \frac{5}{2} + \frac{23}{4} = \frac{40}{12} + \frac{30}{12} + \frac{69}{12}

3. \frac{40}{12} + \frac{30}{12} + \frac{69}{12}

4. \frac{139}{12}

5. \frac{139}{12} = 11\frac{7}{12}

Therefore, Ms. Viera bought 11 7/12 pounds of fruit.

A pendulum swings such that each swing is 65% the length of the previous swing. Thus, the swings become shorter and shorter. The
MariettaO [177]
The total distance it travels is 86 inches.

We start out with 30 inches. Each successive time we add 65% of this. This can be represented as:

30(0.65)ˣ

When we take the sum of these terms, it approaches 86.
