PLEASE HELP ASAP!! Read the excerpt from the preface from The life and adventures of Wilburn Waters: the famous hunter and trapp

er of White Top Mountain: embracing early history of southwestern Virginia and think about how Charles B. Coale, the author, went about getting the information for his book.
This book, except that portion of it illustrating the life and adventures of Wilburn Waters, the great hermit hunter and trapper, comprises a series of articles written for a weekly newspaper, partly for pastime, and partly to preserve for the use of the future historian a few facts connected with the early settlement of Southwestern Virginia, and which otherwise might have been lost. These facts, together with attempted descriptions of various localities, and all that the book contains, have the merit at least of being true. Being thus hastily thrown together, without revision or systematic arrangement, the author's only apology is, that it reappears in this form at the urgent solicitation of a great number of persons who read the articles as they appeared in the Abingdon Virginian, and who thought them worthy of preservation.
Why does Coale want to preserve the history of his area?
1.to compile his many newspaper articles into one compact book
2.to persuade more people to move to the area because of its interesting history
3.to make money from book sales, as well as from his newspaper
4.for professional historians who want to write about the history of Virginia

in great expectations, while living in london, pip believes that he belongs with estella and that they would be blissfully happy
frosja888 [35]

Pip admit to himself that any time he spends with her he himself is constantly miserable.

Write a short note on Great Expectations.

Great Expectations is famous as Charles Dickens' twelfth and penultimate finished book. It features Pip, an orphan with the moniker, going to school. The protagonist of the book is an English orphan named Pip, who grows wealthy, deserts his true friends, and is ultimately humbled by his own conceit. It also introduces Miss Havisham, one of literature's more colorful characters.

Great Expectations' moral message is straightforward: love, loyalty, and conscience come before social mobility, material wealth, and class. Dickens gave the book two different conclusions. In the first, Pip stays unmarried while Estella gets remarried. Dickens predicts that the two will wed in the second. There are arguments on both sides regarding the appropriate conclusion.

Matthew has been playing the clarinet for many years, and he can play musical scales without giving much thought to the finger p
lana [24]

Answer: A result of years of practice and playing the instrument

Explanation:

When a person immerses himself in a new activity, it is normal for him to initially experience difficulty mastering it, no matter if he is learning a sport or playing an instrument in principle it will be difficult. Over time and according to the skills that the person has, you can see how it is improving. You can see how that person is becoming stronger and has greater control over what he learns, which is due to the process in which he immersed himself from the beginning.

A person who keeps practicing something over time will become an expert which is due to continuous repetition. The person memorizes what he has to do and every time it will be easier for him to do what he has to do. Someone who practices soccer with time will be able to have better handling of the ball, will not need to look at the ball when he carries it with his foot and will have greater agility when moving, the same happens with the case of Matthew. Matthew is already able to play the clarinet without thinking much about the positions of his fingers since his skills in playing the clarinet have been strengthened and he can easily remember the notes due to the years of practice he has had.
