Answer:

Explanation:

Given : Trevor has an investment worth $6,774.50. He made his only deposit in it 22 years ago. investment yields 2.7% simple interest annually,

To Find : how big was the initial deposit

Solution:

Let say investment in initial deposit = P $

Rate of interest R = 2.7 % annually

Time = 22 Years

Simple interest = SI

SI = P * R & T /100

=> SI = P * 2.7 * 22 /100

=> SI = 0.594P $

Investment worth = P + SI

= P + 0.594P

= 1.594P $

1.594P = 6774.50

=> P = 4250 $

initial deposit = 4250 $

A prism has a height of 11.2 centimeters and an equilateral triangle for a base, where each base edge is 8 centimeters. find the
Mademuasel [1]

The volume of the triangular prism with the given height and base dimensions to the nearest hundredth is 310.38cm³.

What is a triangular prism?

A triangular prism is simply a three-dimensional solid with three rectangular sides and two triangular bases.

The volume of an equilateral triangular prism is expressed as;

V = (√3/4) × a² × h

Given the data in the question;

 • Height h = 11.2cm
 • Sides a = 8cm
 • Volume V = ?

We substitute our values into the equation above.

V = (√3/4) × a² × h

V = (√3/4) × (8cm)² × 11.2cm

V = (√3/4) × 64cm² × 11.2cm

V = 310.38cm³

Therefore, the volume of the triangular prism with the given height and base dimensions to the nearest hundredth is 310.38cm³.
