Dr. King's main idea in this section was to defend the strategy of resistance to racism.

From the excerpt, Dr. King states that people had a moral responsibility to break the laws that they considered to be unjust. He stated further that people should take direct actions rather than wait for justice.

He stated that he was arrested on a charge of parading without a permit. He further supported his claim by stating that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust and willingly accepts the penalty by staying in jail to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is expressing respect for the law.

Answer:

HAN

The biggest products in the Han economy were iron, salt, copper work, and silk.

The Silk Road was established during the Han Dynasty. Buddhism first came to China during this time.

Social status was very rigid.

QUIN

Qin dynasty had a stricter government than the Han's. While the Han dynasty gave the emperor a lot of power, the Qin dynasty gave the emperor even more. Han didn't tax citizens as harshly as then Qin dynasty did. Qin was not shaped by religion like the Han was.

Explanation:

The dynasties were similar because both unified China and its culture through programs of centralization and assimilation, the integration of people into a wider culture. However, while the Han Dynasty embraced Confucianism, the teaching's of Confucius, the Qin Dynasty followed Legalism philosophy.
