It is D bc px+12=17
Subtract 12 from both sides
Px=5 then divide p from both sides making it x=5/p u can't divide em with each other bc they r not lik terms
Good luck have fun have a nice nite

Slice the system of equations below 4×+y=16 and 2×+y=-2
BartSMP [9]
Answer: x = 9, y = -14

Explanation:

4x + y = 16
2x + y = -2<span>

</span>   4x + y = 16
-  2x + y = -2
-------------------
   2x + 0 = 18
-------------------

2x = 18
x = 9         <<<<<  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For the value of x

Plug x = 9 into  2x + y = -2

2(9) + y = -2
12 + y = -2
y = -14         <<<<<  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For the value of y

Graph the image of the given triangle under a dilation with a scale factor of 1/2 and center of dilation (0, 0) .
Irina-Kira [14]

Vertices of the given triangle are:  (0, 0) , (8, 0) and (-6, 0)

If we dilate the triangle with a scale factor of 1/2 , then the new vertices will be...

(0*\frac{1}{2}, 0*\frac{1}{2} )= (0,0)

(8*\frac{1}{2}, 0*\frac{1}{2} )= (4,0)

(0*\frac{1}{2}, -6*\frac{1}{2} )= (0,-3)

Now we will just plot those vertices for getting the dilated triangle.

Which algebraic expressions are polynomials? Check all that apply.
olganol [36]

the options that are polynomials are:

3.9x³-4.1x² + 7.3

x²y²-4x³+12y

4-x²

<h3>Which algebraic expressions are polynomials?</h3>

A polynomial is an expression of the form:

p(x) = aₙ*xⁿ + ...+ a₂*x² + a₁*x  + a₀

Where all the exponents of the variable are whole numbers, and in this case we have only one variable x, but we could have any number of variables.

With that in mind, the options that are polynomials are:

3.9x³-4.1x² + 7.3

x²y²-4x³+12y

4-x²

These 3 expressions are polynomials.
