I believe it is C - metaphor. In the first sentence, if you were to put your name there, it would simply describe you as a dignitary.

Answer:

C) metaphor--death is being compared to a dignitary directly

Explanation:

A metaphor is a comparison between two unlike things without using like or as. In this passage, the speaker is comparing death and dignitary. The metaphor is made within the first four words so it is direct. In the passage it doesn't describe death as both positive and negative. Death is being described but through metaphor, not hyperbole. There is no like or as in the passage so simile is not an option.

I NEED HELP WILL MARK BRAINLIEST!!!!
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

The cause of Penelope's bulimia is most likely caused by overly-enjoying food. It could also be from being bored. Penelope should be supervised by her parents or have them make her food. Penelope may be able to overcome this.

Rowdy scares Junior’s bullies away. But, however bullied Junior is, Rowdy seems to have it worse. Like Junior’s parents, Rowdy’s parents are alcoholics. The difference is that, when Rowdy’s father gets drunk, he beats his son. This kind of domestic abuse is more common on the reservation than it is in Reardan. Indeed, physical violence in general is an expected and encouraged part of reservation life, and it unfolds according to unwritten rules.  That is, no matter how much Reardan kids insult each other, their confrontations almost never come to blows. The different relationship to violence on the reservation and in Reardan is further indication of the opportunity gap that exists between the two communities.

Hope this Helps:)
