According to me, Europe underdeveloped Africa and thus the negative effects are more, as imperialism was based on exploiting the populations through forced labor, alienating land thus forcing a whole generation into abject poverty,killing millions in war of congest and violent crush of protests and uprising, and dividing communities and putting hostile ethnic communities into one polity. Cultural civilization can not be used as justification of imperialism.
