Why are dead or weakened viruses used instead of normal viruses to create a vaccine?
vodomira [7]
I think its because vaccines are just to help your body learn how to fight off the virus, it’s not to actually give you the virus. Hope this helped!

A large-mouth bass is taken from a fresh water lake and transplanted into the river. If the conditions for survival are optimal,
liberstina [14]
The cells will make some sort of reaction, there's no doubt about it. But for a bass I believe that their cells will stay the same or shrink over time.
Bass are strong fish and they usually do well when there's a change in conditions made in the environment. But it depends on what this river has in it and if it leads to bigger opened waters.
If there's a shortage of food sources for the bass it'll have to adapt quickly or it'll die from the predators in the area. If there isn't any places the Bass can lay their eggs (reproduce) its population will die in that river.
There also competition. In that river it could have socked eye salmon in it or catfish even pikes. So the Bass cells would stay the same.

Hope this helps

blagie [28]

Based on the information, you can determine that color-blindness is X LINK RECESSIVE.

C) X-linked recessive.

Explanation:

Color blindness is the common hereditary condition that is hereditary passed from their parents. The gene for the color blindness found in the chromosomes. So for the male to be color blind. X linked color blindness is the recessive traits.

Female heterozygous of the trait have a normal vision. The X link recessive is the mode of the inheritance in which the mutation of the gene on the chromosomes causes the depletion in the phenotype because the male has one Y and one x chromosomes.
