  1. Hi so it's ask for area of circle an you know that formula for area of circle is πr2 r (radius)
  2. What is π? We have two formula π which is 22/7 or 3.142.So for this question i will use 22/7.
  3. If you look at question 2,4 and 6 you can see the diameter which line straight to the circumference. That's call diameter. But in the formula it want r which mean radius. So the diameter÷2

Hopes this help

Pytagorean theorem

height10
attached at 10-4=6 yards from bottom
8 yards from base to away

a^2+b^2=c^2
a and b are side legnths and c=hypotonuse
so therfore we are given a and b and we must solve for c

so
6=height
8=base

6^2+8^2=c^2
36+64=c^2
100=c^2
square root
10=c

so therfor the legnth of each cable is 10 yards
3 cables so 3 times 10=30

30 yards needed

Determine whether the given lengths can be sides of a right triangle. Which of the following are true statements. A.The lengths
Stels [109]

Answer:

Given sides 12, 16 and 20 can be the sides of right triangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sides of right triangle always follow the Pythagoras theorem.

i.e (base)^2 + (Height)^2 = (Hypotenuse)^2

For the given Lengths 7, 40 and 41

We need to check if

7^2 + 40^2 =41^2 \\or\\ 7^2 + 40^2 \neq41^2

Since \\7^2 + 40^2 = 1649\\and \\41^2 = 1681

That means, \\ 7^2 + 40^2 \neq 41^2

hence 7,40 and 41 can not be the sides of right triangle.

Next,

Given sides 12,16 and 20.

Again follow the similar process used in the above problem.

12^2 + 16^2 =400\\And \\20^2 = 400\\Since 12^2 + 16^2 = 20^2

Therefore given sides 12,16 and 20 can be the sides of right triangle.
